MNLWYPBP chapter 19: It’s not like I’m caressing you so I can molest you! I just wanted to see how rough your hands are.

I’ve not seen Nigel and Haref lately.

It might be because they’re main characters and it’s that time where they go into hiding and train in order to have a grand debut and show everyone how OP and handsome they are on the first day of school. Something like a scene from a Shoujo manga* where girls would scream cause they’re too good-looking and the girls would  start calling them by their homemade nicknames which would probably be along the lines of Prince, emperor and other aggrandising names…

If you compare Nigel’s attractiveness to Haref’s, Nigel wins all the way. Even if Haref’s features may be second to Nigel but he’s got a shit ton of options, he’s got powerful magic and other talents which would make him able to rival Nigel’s looks!

As for Salsaal…after that day, he’s not floated to me at all, I’m not happy at all, I swear I’m not! Even though, I’ve been humming cheerfully, it doesn’t mean I’m happy, you know!

On other news, since Mr fortune-teller-Salsaal isn’t reliable, I could only go to father and tell him I wanted to make preparations before I enter the school of wizardry, I won’t talk about how my father’s tears starts to well up and he ended up crying, I’ll just skip that part and talk about my instructor.

My instructor is called Calis Merlin, he’s the future wizard of the Royal family. Well…you could say he seems familiar? In the game Ushinawareta Hoshi, he’s one of those love consultants…but…

It’s kinda weird.

As far as I can remember, Merlin isn’t supposed to be blind but the person in front of me, apart from being bulky, his eyes are completely dark without any focus points, his hair messy and half of his face has some kind of mark on it as if he’s been cursed. Another thing, Calis Merlin should be an open guy since he was supposed to fill in as a big bro for Cass while everyone in his family ignores him, but this Calis Merlin is quiet and would only randomly mumble at times…

The first time I met him..I was shocked.

However, the thing that shook me the most was, when someone who’s normally lethargic like him sprinted to me and asked, “Are you Gilbert Bedivere? Are you? You are right? And, and, and…”.

Sc-Scary…

I turned to father, he’s gone…basta…I meant so fast.

“Ple-Please calm down”, I smiled but it’s not like he can see it anyways so, I changed tactics and tried to remove his hands from me, they’re too sticky, “I…I’m Gilbert Bedivere…”.

“Ah…wow…”, even though those eyes are supposed to be dull, they seemed to be shining, “…Gilbert, Gilbert in real life…”.

Do-Doesn’t he seems a bit too scary?

I remember that I don’t have much of a reputation and I’ve not debuted as an idol either. What is up with his excitement when he sees me? Or…

I glanced at the blind man…he’s not fallen in love with me right?

“I-I’m…C-Calis Merlin”, Calis broke into a smile, his hands suddenly grasped mine and he started to…ca-carress it…

“It’s nice to meet y-you.”

I felt an urge to cry, I wanted to run away and shout out…

Salsaal, I’m sorry! Please come back and teach me instead!

Calis Merlin is an extremely scary person. In truth, a blind man should be pitiful but I can’t feel any sympathy for him because he’s using his blindness to such a great advantage! Every time he instructs me…I…I’ll be caressed at least 5 times! Not including when he say, “Whoops, I can’t see anything and touched the wrong thing. I’m so sorry”, to hell with that!

Although, I know how good looking Gilbert Bedivere is but Calis is blind so looks shouldn’t affect him! The other weird thing is that he only chose to do this to me while father…survived! Mother…survived! Cass…good he’s done nothing to my lil’ bro or he would’ve been dead meat…

At first, I tried to calculate the possibility that he was in love with me but when Nigel and Haref came for a visit, Calis nearly threw me somewhere else before deceiving them…I meant saying “Whoops, I can’t see anything and touched the wrong thing. I’m so sorry”, to Haref and Nigel, it made both of them runaway. In summary…

He’s just a perverted grandpa who likes aesthetically pleasing little boys!

Even though, I’m curious as to how he figured our who’s good-looking or not, but…I think it’s best if I try not to come to understand him. Apart from his scary personality, it could be said that Calis is someone who’s intelligent and has powerful magic. Another thing, he knows that I can still use magic.

“But I won’t tell anyone!”, he said quickly and smiled, “Cause if I tell anyone, there would be too may consequences…let’s just say you’re indebted to me. Heh, heh…”.

Hey bro…I don’t want to be indebted to you! I’m scared you’ll tell me to use my body as a repayment…

He taught me magic alongside what I was originally meant to learn, initially he said it was top secret and that it was best to teach it in my bedroom…are you crazy?! Being alone with him is way too dangerous! Finally, he mumbled something and created a barrier, it’s still dangerous but I don’t think cough! He’s not got that kind of outdoor kink or something along those lines, hopefully!

…But it’s still scary, I’d better find a weapon to defend myself with.

“Your power’s element is ‘ground’ however, it’s rather special because it’s the ‘unsealing’ type”, Calis smiled, “which means, even if the ritual you went through were to be ‘real’, it won’t be able to do anything to you since you’re the unsealing type”.

I lowered my eyes and looked at him, doesn’t he know too much…

But, the only thing I got in return was a smile, “Don’t worry, I also like the Prince of darkness…something like destroying the person I like…Huh…”.

Salsaal I miss you! Please come and take my place!

“I’ll save that for later, let’s talk about your power for now. What do you think ‘unsealing’ means”, Calis smiled…caressed my hand once, you son of a bitch! “Unsealing magic, unsealing forbidden places, unsealing legendary weapons, unsealing demons, unsealing Gods or even unsealing the human limit…”

…But it can’t undo someone’s clothes…no! I should’t think about something like this!

“You might not know it but your power type…it’s suitable to trick others that you are not capable of magic”, he smiled and caressed once…you…,”as long as you use your powers wisely…unsealing the human limit isn’t half bad, it’ll be able to support you in battles and in wit , if you compare it…”

“Stop fondling my arm!”, and stop putting your hands anywhere above that!

“Cough! Sorry, I can’t see..”, Calis moved his hands away neatly, “If you use it well, you’ll be able to make a name as a genius, good thing unsealing the human limit is a low-level spell if you want to use high-level spells like unsealing a forbidden place or demon or God…you’ll have to call your Guardian angel as an aid or make a contract with them in return of something in order to increase your magic’s strength”.

“In return?”, if I can make a contract would I be able to become a ‘mid-rank’?

“Actually, there aren’t any differences in calling a mid-rank or a high-rank God, it mostly depends on your ‘rank'”, Calis averted his eyes, “I’m sorry I can only tell you this much, it’s easier if you try calling your own rather than listen to an instruction by someone else”.

Then don’t lure me in with your mystery! Also your hands…

This time I personally removed his hands away, “Thank you very much for the advice”.

“You’re welcome…even though…”, he mumbled to himself as per usual, I used to wonder what he was saying but…something in me warned me that it’s won’t be good for my mental health.

Now that I think about it…his traits make me kinda irritated. It’s something that stirs me and it’s something that’s familiar but I don’t know what it is and when he reached his hands and started to caress my shoulder, I thought…

It’s best if I don’t come to understand him!

Suddenly, the person who disappeared to who-knows-where finally showed his face.

“Salsaal I missed you!”

I cried while running towards him. Ever since Calis came, apart from Nigel not coming, Haref hasn’t been making any visits either! I would give everything to turn back time! I don’t want Calis! Give Nigel and Haref back!

“What’s up with you?”, Salsaal made a voice in irritation, ugh! I was attacked by a flying object…the familiar pain…

“I…I…I missed you a lot!”, I’m repressed and I want to get everything out of my chest…

“So fucking annoying!”

“We’ve not seen each other for quite a while, you’ve seem to become more short-tempered…or have you drank, cough! cough! Come, don’t dwell too much on those words from the other day…”

The Prince is such a petty person!

“Gilbert Bedivere!”

I saw that he was clenching his jaws, I bowed down and made myself appear like a servant, “…I’m sorry”.

His eyes were lowered in anger, the older he grows, the less patience he’s got, it’s worrying, he might’ve been possessed by a vengeful ghost or was cursed.

“By the way, why have you come today…”

“…I just found out Calis Merlin came here…according to my clairvoyance.”

Are you sure it’s clairvoyance? Isn’t it a bit too slow Prince! May be, the ability to see in the future of his isn’t as great as I thought it was, never mind!

I forced out tears and hugged the ghost’s leg but I could only grasp air and went through him…let’s just pretend I’m holding on to his leg, “Salsaal, what happened before, I’m sorry! Please teach me and make me strong so I can remove Calis…”.

“Salsaal Secalno De Arthur?”

A flat voice came from the door, I flinched.

“Salsaal…are you Salsaal Secalno De Arthur?”

When I looked at that indifferent face, I was screaming inside…this is bad! Between hitting Calis’ head until he faints or trying to exorcise Salsaal, what should I do!

…

Or should I do both…
