I blinked and got up in confusion. I slapped my face, my mouth, my cheeks and my body just to make sure none of them were broken, everything was weirdly normal…or am I going into the cliche manga plot again? Everything that happened might be a dream!

“Gil…”, Nigel’s voice made me flinch, I looked at him, who was still a cute child, “…is something wrong?”

I blinked and blinked at Nigel…his countenance became slightly sullen but he’s still totally adorbs, I reached up and pinched the other’s cheeks, he’s not stopping me…yeah, Nigel’s still the same Nigel, or was I actually dreaming?!

It must be a dream! Someone like Nigel can’t be such a cruel person?! It must have been my lil’ sis’ delusions taking control of me, I’m sure!!

I sighed in relief, “It’s nothing Nigel, I’m fin…um, Nigel, you’re talking to me?”. If I remember correctly ( excluding that dream ), Nigel’s not been talking to me.

The person in front of me flinched and became silent for a moment, “I…I’m sorry for what I did before…”.

“Recently, I’ve not been talking to Gil…so, I…I’m confused”, his argent eyes looked at me for a second before turning the other way, “I’m confused and I don’t understand why I, who’s a Gawain should prioritise my household above all everything? But…is that the right way to go about doing things?”.

Nigel started to bawl his eyes out…the same Nigel as the day where I came into existence in this world.

I feel awkward when he hugs me, I don’t know if I should hug him back or not…ah, it’s probably my fault for being weak. If I was as strong and talented as Haref then may be I won’t have to think so much but could you call someone like that a ‘friend’? Excluding his foot which crushed my back and made me think it was actually Haref who was abusing me! Another thing, Nigel’s power is the power of ice! He doesn’t have healing powers! But if you think about it that way, isn’t Salsaal, who’s got the ‘support’ type way more suspicious?

I looked down at Nigel, who’s got pinchable cheeks, totally adorbs, then I looked at Satan Salsaal, who’s shady af.

“Suddenly Gil became weird…”, Nigel said as if to say he accepted that he’s just been crushing my back with his foot…but I can’t actually blame him cause it was my fault for thinking what happened was a dream. “You weren’t behaving like the Gil I knew, I thought you might’ve been possessed or was cursed in someway so…I was a bit violent.”

He confessed in such a cute voice, it made me want to forgive him…If you want to blame someone, blame me, I know his face is too much in my strike zone, I can’t stand something as cute as a lil’ sis or a lil’ bro!

I patted his head softly…how old is he? 8 years old! There’s still time to teach him, as soon as he displays behaviours which hints towards him having feelings for me, I’ll start to introduce girls to him and make him go down the straight path!
